Indian Summer in Levoca Festival 2012

Described by the Gramophone Magazine as "virtuoso of power and poetry", Eldar Nebolsin is regularly invited by the most renowned orchestras and festivals worldwide.

In 2005 he was awarded the Sviatoslav Richter Prize in the 1st edition of the International Piano Competition in Moscow.

A former student of renowned Russian pianist and teacher Dmitri Bashkirov, Eldar currently records for the Naxos label. At the 2012 Indian Summer in Levoca Festival, Eldar will give a solo recital of the music of Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Chopin; with the Stamic Quartet he will perform the Piano Quintet of César Franck; and he will play Mozart's C minor Piano Concerto with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra.
